God does not want idle faith. Keep watch...
Luke 21:36
Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
As I move on-wards to my search...for the genuine love of God and concern for mankind, I am being hurt on the process...What I have been raise to believe and cling to embrace as something worthy are even part of the whole scheme. Now the only source that I can have faith and put my trust is in the Word of God. Only Jesus Christ is where I will seek refuge.
It is a Christian duty to watch...
1 John 5:19-21We know that we are of God, and that the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us understanding so that we may know Him who is true; and we are in Him who is true, in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God and eternal life. Little children, guard yourselves from idols.
“For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.” (IITim 4:3-5)
