Speaking of Trees and Foolishness

At this very moment Typhoon Pablo had just hit the southern part of The Philippine Archipelago. We are praying we don't get repeat fury like that of Sendong which devastated exactly last year. 

   Speaking of typhoon, there is always that fear of flooding especially around rivers and coastal areas. 

   For instance Manila bay. During Marcos era, our former first lady Imelda Marcos reclaimed large part of the bay area, where the famous Cultural Center of the Philippines now stands. The problem was that our urban planners, underestimated the power of the seas and just rely on breakwaters to stop giant waves from reaching shorelines. As we have seen those preventive measures were not enough...

   So, why not reclaim more of the seas, since we've extended human settlement, we should replace the lost shorelines. I think it would be helpful to plant, at least kilometer long mangrove forest around that area. It would be more beneficial to the well being of marine creatures, and at the same time deter flooding and even tsunami. It can also be added attraction to our beautiful sunset by the bay. 

   We can duplicate the same  idea around Pasig Rivers or other flood prone areas. Hmm that was so easy to say...a lot of Political Will would be needed to actually do it. So who had Genuine concerns for mankind?

So What Tree Do You Have?

   And again, speaking of truth or genuine concerns. I am compel to speak that truth again...the truth that the Holy Bible forbids erecting Christmas Tree. We can read that in Jeremiah 10. 

Hear what the Lord says to you, people of Israel. This is what the Lord says:“Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the heavens, though the nations are terrified by them.For the practices of the peoples are worthless; they cut a tree out of the forest, and a craftsman shapes it with his chisel.They adorn it with silver and gold; they fasten it with hammer and nails so it will not totter. Like a scarecrow in a cucumber field, their idols cannot speak;they must be carried because they cannot walk.Do not fear them; they can do no harm nor can they do any good.” (Jeremiah 10:1-5)

   I have discussed this Satanic practice before many times in this Blog and here I am again speaking even if it seems of no effect to everyone. The Lord knows the heart of people who truly respect His commandment...they are willing to listen and obey. 

   But generally people, in the baton of the False Church, teaching its followers to observe Satanism, like Christmas Nativity which is actually just a morph Mithraic practice from Pagan Rome. It was very clear in the Bible that everything about Christmas is a Big Lie. Christmas celebration is purely "SUN worship" or Saturnalia (Dec. 25). 

   Just a little common sense is needed, you don't have to be a Bible scholar to realized that everything about Christmas celebration is a Big Lie. Is Jesus Christ the reason of the season? NO! It's that guys in devil Red dress, who is in corrupt form of name Santa...just jumble his name and you will know who he is. In fact, the driving force why Christmas celebration survive is "Commercialism". Materialism, we know from Jesus Christ own word that he who loves the world is an enemy of God.
